The first Aloha Salads opened its doors in May of 2006 in the quiet beach town of Kailua, Hawaii. From that day forward, local customers and visitors to Hawai'i have lined up to enjoy the healthy offerings of locally grown Hawaiian fruits and vegetables, gourmet meats and cheeses and delectable home-made dressings. Although there have been additions to the menu since then, the staples of Aloha Salads like the Aloha Passion with Grilled Steak and the Ono Island Ahi have remained unchanged. It remains dedicated to supporting local farmers and fishermen while providing its customers with the freshest, healthiest and most delicious ingredients available. Our field greens come, not by boat from the mainland, but straight from the North Shore of Oahu. Our tomatoes come ripened on the vine from Hau'ula, Hawai'i delivered by the farmer himself. Our ahi comes, always fresh, never previously frozen or injected with CO2 straight from Hawaiian waters caught by Hawaiian fishermen using sustainable fishing methods. Aloha Salads deeply cares about its customers' health. To that end, its signature salad dressings are made without the use of hydrogenated oils or trans fats. Even its breads are made without the use of such oils. Their sandwich breads are made with extra virgin olive oil and nutrient powerhouses like flax seeds. The Five Guys Story Five Guys has been a Washington, DC area favorite since 1986 when Jerry and Janie Murrell offered sage advice to the four young Murrell brothers: "Start a business or go to college."The business route won and the Murrell family opened a carry-out burger joint in Arlington, Virginia. Under the guidance of Jerry and Janie, the Murrell family served only hand-formed burgers cooked to perfection on a grill along with fresh-cut fries cooked in pure peanut oil. The little burger joint quickly developed a cult-like following. Press paid attention. Customers voted the burger"#1" in the metro area. During the 1980's and 1990's the Murrell family perfected their simple system. Five Guys was The Place to get a fresh, juicy burger with all the toppings you could stuff between fresh-baked buns. Walking from Pali Momi Medical Center On the ground floor, use the covered walkway located on the makai&nbsp;(ocean) side of the building.&nbsp;Continue along the sidewalk, cross the driveway for the parking garage entrance, and upon reaching the stop sign on Haukapila Street, take the crosswalk to the front entrance&nbsp;of the Cancer Center. Parking Free in the parking garage adjacent to the Cancer&nbsp;Center building. For those who require assistance: Upon entering Pearlridge Center from Pali Momi Street, continue on Haukapila Street to the stop sign; turn right. Take the&nbsp;second&nbsp;left to enter the ground floor of the parking garage.There are two drop-off areas with ramps for patients in wheelchairs.&nbsp;(Green path on map.) Patients and visitors who require assistance to the Hawaii Pacific Health Center at Pali Momi can rely on our new Parking Ambassador, who is available inside the parking garage adjacent to the Cancer Center to lend a helping hand. Family and caregivers are recommended to park on the ground floor. There are 10 parking spots designated for Cancer Center patients only, but all spots are available to park if those are occupied. For those who do not require assistance: There is a designated drop-off area on Haukapila Street in front of the Cancer Center for patients who require little or no assistance. Those who require assistance are encouraged to use our Parking Ambassador program. To park, family and caregivers may continue on Haukapila Street, passing California Pizza Kitchen on the left.
