Stuff The Bus

Pearlridge Center is partnering with Ground Transport Inc. and the Hawaii Department of Education to “stuff the bus” with new school supplies and footwear for local students in need. Donations will be distributed to students who are homeless or in unstable housing and enrolled in public schools in the Aiea, Pearl City, Waipahu and Kapolei Complex Areas in advance of the first day of school.

The community is asked to donate new notebooks, pens, pencils, backpacks and slippers or other footwear.

Ground Transport Inc. will place a full-size yellow school bus in parking lot outside of the Pearlridge Mauka Food Court entrance for the duration of the supply drive.

Donations will be taken now through July 27 during center hours.

The community may drop off school supply donations at various Pearlridge Center stores throughout Mauka and Wai Makai including Aloha Salads, Big City Diner, TJ Maxx, Five Guys, Laine Honolulu, Razor Concepts, T&C Surf Designs, and Sharing the Butterfly Experience.
