Pearlridge Center will be hosting a contact-free Halloween Candy Crawl Drive-Thru event on Friday, October 30 from 5 – 7:30 p.m. The free drive-thru event willbegin in front of TJMaxx and end at Macy’s. Guests of all ages are required to pre-register online to celebrate the holiday in a socially-safe manner by dressing in costume and remaining in their vehicles while slowly cruising along the center’s curbside path.
In lieu of the center’s annual traditional Halloween celebration, Pearlridge’s Candy Crawl Drive-Thru will offer music by Krater96’s Mandy Suganuma, over 50 merchants dressed in costume to pass free candy and treats, Bleizn FX classic car show and special characters adding extra excitement and fright to the drive. Pearlridge will also be adding a community component to its Candy Crawl Drive-Thru by asking families to support neighbors in need by donating two (2) or more canned goods to receive a complimentary canvas shopping tote. Donations are not required and all goods will go to benefit Hawaii Food Bank.
Pearlridge Center has also partnered with Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE) to implement the Teal Pumpkin Project created for children with food allergy sensitivities. Upon registration, parents may select the option for a Teal Pumpkin ticket instead of regular admission. On event-day, Teal Pumpkin registrants will receive a special teal-colored trick-or-treat bag to indicate the need for alternative treats instead of candy at each Candy Crawl station. The Teal Pumpkin Project is an effort to help raise food allergy awareness and offers an option of non-food trinkets and toys to make Halloween more inclusive for all trick-or-treaters. Additional details and registration information:
1. Registration is required and deadline is Friday, October 30 at 2 p.m. Admission is complimentary and tickets are first come, first serve. Register at: pearlridgeonline.com/events-news

“With all of the unique challenges that we have faced this year, Pearlridge Center is excited to be able to provide an opportunity for our community to enjoy the holiday through socially safe events like our Candy Crawl Drive-Thru,” said David Cianelli, general manager. “Our center has served as a community gathering place for decades, and now more than ever, we are proud to be a place where families and friends can safely celebrate.”
Pearlridge Center remains focused on providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. In response to the continued need to address COVID-19, the Center has proactively implemented additions to the Code of Conduct, effective until further notice. These additions include the following guidelines:
• Practice social distancing and stay at least 6 feet (2 meters) from other people.
• Covering your mouth and nose with a cloth face cover in accordance with state and local guidelines.
• Do not gather in groups.
• Adhere to each individual tenant’s COVID-19 policies.
• Adhere to all federal, state and local regulations, recommendations and mandates regarding COVID-19.
The Code of Conduct is posted on property and available online pearlridgeonline.com/legal/code-of-conduct
In addition, Pearlridge Center’s already rigorous disinfectant and cleaning practices will continue, many times per day, including periodically disinfecting areas most susceptible to the spread of germs. Alcohol based hand sanitizer dispensers are located in highly trafficked areas and walkways for public use.
Pearlridge Center remains committed to supporting Hawaii’s community through providing unique experiences year-round. The safety of guests and tenants alike remains the town center’s top focus, and Candy Crawl Drive-Thru is just one example of Pearlridge Center’s ongoing efforts to maintain their role as a community lifestyle center no matter the circumstances.
