Tip A Cop, a fundraiser for Special Olympics Hawaii!
Special Olympics Hawaii athletes need your support now more than ever! The pandemic forced Special Olympics to cancel all training and competitions and transition to online and virtual trainings, competitions and programs. While the organization was proud to find a way to continue to serve their athletes, it has been a challenging time for all of them. Now excitement is building and athletes are getting ready to return to in person practices where they will see their friends and coaches, get back to weekly workouts and experience the joy Special Olympics brings into their lives! The Tip A Cop fundraiser will help Special Olympics continue to provide all their services free of charge to their athletes and their families and will also give the community a chance to show their support for the law enforcement officers who are heroes to our athletes!
Support Special Olympics Hawaii athletes and the law enforcement community by participating in Tip A Cop, a fundraiser designed to raise awareness and resources for Special Olympics Hawaii athletes. 100% of the donations received will stay right here in Hawaii and will make an impact in the lives of over 3,400 children and adults with intellectual disabilities who participate in Special Olympics year-round.
Tip A Cop is a fundraiser which takes place at local restaurants that want to show their support for Law Enforcement and Special Olympics Hawaii. Volunteers from Hawaii’s law enforcement community bus tables, assist servers and interact with customers to raise awareness and tips for Special Olympics Hawaii. Special Olympics athletes also take part in the event and visit tables along with the volunteers.
